⚡️ Why I kept going (even when I wanted to stop)

Hey Reader,

400 podcast episodes.

That's a ridiculous number when you think about it.

Most podcasts die at episode 10. Others limp to 25 before pod fading away. The rare few reach 100.

And here I am—hitting episode 400 of Make Marketing Suck Less.

Crikey. That's a ton of content, and I'm not a content machine.

There were plenty of moments I thought about killing the podcast.

But I kept going because I believe—deep in my gut—that experts deserve to be heard and hired for what they actually know.

If there's just one person who listens to my words and it gives them an aha about this weird-ass online business world, it's worth it!

Because let's be real: consistency isn't sexy. It's boring as hell.

But it works. It's how real authority gets built. And it's how you become the first person clients think of—not the 27th.

So today, I'm celebrating the showing up—because I know you've been doing that too.

You've been slogging through confusing marketing advice.

Trying to make strategies work that were built for creators, not experts like you. Searching for clients who care about results, not just charisma.

If that's you, episode 400 is for you.

I'm sharing the 4 Rebel Truths this podcast is built on—truths I believe more fiercely now than when I hit record on episode 1.

If this is the only episode you ever listen to, I hope it reminds you how valuable it is to be an expert—and gives you the clarity to market like one.

Now for the ironic part...(and not in the Alanis Morrisette way)

I'm putting the podcast on hiatus until September.

I've built so many frameworks over the years—the 3 Word Rebellion, the GEO Framework, the Minimum Viable Marketing Message—and I need to step back and see how they all fit together.

(Yeah, the messaging strategist needs to look at her own message.)

I know everything I've created works together. I've seen them change businesses. But I want to show you exactly how they connect to make you the only choice for your clients.

The newsletter keeps going, though. It's my favorite thing I write all week.

Right now, I'm letting myself feel proud of showing up 400 times—for you, for this message, and for the belief that real expertise should win.

Thank you for being here, whether you're new or have been with me since the beginning.

Michelle

Great at sales—but struggling to get people on a call?

Let’s fix that.

In my Done-for-You Marketing Message Service, I take what’s in your brain—and all the things you mean to say—and turn it into a clear, compelling, persuasive message that gets people to lean in, nod along, and say, “I need this.”

This is built for expert business owners (like you) who are great at what they do but tired of getting ghosted after a sales page visit or spinning their wheels trying to write marketing that converts.

We co-create a message you’re proud of—one that sounds like you, speaks to your people, and leads straight to your offers.
